Chalet Nele is surrounded by beautifull nature. The chalet itself is surrounded by a large piece of land so that there are no direct neighbours. The valley has a beautifull climate. Grapes and strawberries grow in abundance. The area enjoys a very good reputation in the viticulture

The view from Chalet Nele is without exaggeration splendid! From the living room and the bedroom you have a nice view over the mountain massif with snowed peaks. This forms the border between Switzerland and Italy. From the terrace, you have a nice view of Crans-Montana, a well-known ski resort. The mountain flank behind the chalet is very woody and highly recommended for those who like to walk in plain nature. In the chalet we provide very detailed road maps. During winter you can also langlauf in this area.

At 300 meters from Chalet Nele, you find restaurant Du Lac where typical Swiss dishes are served and where the service is excellent.

Anzere, the well-known Swiss ski resort, is situated at 5 Km. It is easily reachable by car or by public transport (3 times per day from restaurant Du Lac). In this village you can go shopping. In Anzere, you also find a few good restaurants where you can try the 'real' raclette (local speciality of melted cheese).

In the nearby neighbourhood of Chalet Nele you can find the biggest dam of Europe, that is really worth visiting. A bit further on, at 100 Km driving distance, is situated the lake of Lausanne and Evia, the village of the well-known water. Also Geneva, at 120 Km distance is worth visiting. Via the Mont Blanc Tunnel you are in Aosta-Italy in no time.
